Yes, the big release for this year is almost upon us. This will also see the release of the annual new theme – Twentyseventeen.
There is quite a big happening under the hood. The biggest impact we expect is for the interest in the large images at the bigining of pages and posts and the abilty to have a video header. Do not be surprised to see many more video headers appearing on themes. We will probably be bored with them before the end of the year.
The changes ‘under the hood’ mean that you should expect allmost all plugins having to release an update to keep up with the changes. They could already be doing do with the beta versions of 4.7 already well tested and available for developers. We even have a copy of twenty-seventeen in the office.
