WordPress 4.8 is here with some goodies

Make sure you backup your site first and then update to WordPress 4.8.

We have new widgets to add more to your sites. An image, video, audio and proper text widget. All these will add features we had to cut and paste HTML for, so they are going to save lots of time and quite a few mistakes.

You can now add images to your widgets more easily with the new image widget.

Add videos with the video widget.
If you have a podcast, then the audio widget would be very welcome.
And lastly, the old simple text widget is updated to a rich text format widget with the format bar making text and links so much easier to create.

Make sure you also check for any updates to translations and theme updates.
